The recurring dream

·         Why do some people have recurring dreams? Give your reasons.
Ans. A recurring dream is a dream that repeats. There may be various reasons for having a recurring dream. I think one has recurring dreams when one has unfulfilled wishes. When they cannot be fulfilled in reality, they come at night in the form of dreams.
·         Why does Janet want to take Kim to her parents’ farm for a few days?
Ans. Janet wants to take Kim to her parents’ farm for a few days. She thinks the peace and beauty of the farm will help Kim to forget her recurring dream.
·         Some people think all dreams have special meanings. What do you think? Tell about it, using examples if you can.
Ans. Yes, I also think that all dreams have special meanings. As dreams are the means to fulfil one’s                                          unfulfilled wishes, they indicate the various mental states of a person. When I am going through a                                            hardship or a trouble that is very difficult to solve, I am chased by a bull or a buffalo in my dream.                                             Three years ago, I had a recurring dream in which I was always chased and bitten by a terrible                                                      python. I lost my nine years old cousin to brain tumor within a week. During my student life, I                                                    always slipped and fell off a cliff or a high ladder in my dream the night before the result day. I                                                    would immediately know that the result was going to be in my favour. I never failed the exams.
