Speaking of Children

Single child is like an organ of our body. You can easily take it anywhere you go or leave it in a place. The child does not disturb your personal life. Plural children make your life troublesome. They disturb your conjugal life very much. They need a lot of playthings. You have to take them to various places around the country. You have to talk to many unwanted people because your children know their children. You can’t save your time to do other more valuable things. Plural children always make your house dirty. They don’t allow you to enjoy private time with your spouse.

When you have to speak with your spouse about something, your children come in between you and your spouse. They create a lot of excuses to do so. When you send them away, they try to listen to you secretly. Then they start scuffling. Meanwhile, you remember some urgent work. Then you give up the idea of talking to your spouse privately.

A mother of many children is always very tired. So, she falls asleep as soon as she lies on her bed.

Some parents try to use their own secret language to communicate with one another. They try to communicate writing notes to each other, but this is also useful only if the children are unable to read the notes. Some other parents try to use a different language to speak to each other. Others, like the writer and her husband, use office time to talk to each other privately.
